Storm the Citadel 2012 Trebuchet
The trebuchet was designed to throw a lacrosse ball between 50 and 250 feet at a target. The competition is scored on accuracy. A non-traditional "fiffer" design was employed with the hope of increasing precision. A vernier pin is to be incorporated in the final design. Special thanks to Luke Van Hulle who assisted in vision and design improvements.
Trebuchet Plans and Parts
The initial Google Sketchup plans were made by Dave Vandermolen.
Chad Hobbs made several slings for testing.
