The Charleston Corridor is a business incubator for technology companies. What they offer is great for start-ups and entrepreneurs in particular, but you may occasionally find the events they host to be interesting or educational to groups like us as well. Every 3rd Friday of the month they have a round-table to discuss a topic as determined by members, and this month they are talking about Modern Day Recruiting. To find out more, visit our event listing here.

Makelab Charleston will be facilitating car pools to NC Maker Faire on June 16th. We will be leaving at 6-6:30 am from the space, this will result in an arrival around 10 am. Last year there was about 3 hours worth of stuff to look at and explore. We will plan to leave around 2 pm getting back to the Charleston area around dinner time. Those people providing transportation are donating their time, gas, and car use. In return people wishing to take advantage of the carpool are asked to donate $20 to Makelab Charleston. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow makers and see the types of projects they are working on.

Contact Jarick if you want more information. This opportunity is not limited to members of Makelab Charleston. Tickets are not provided by Makelab Charleston and will need to be procured individually.
